Hi-Lo Card Counting Trainer

Drill the Hi-Lo running count on random card sequences until counting an entire shoe at normal dealing pace is automatic.

The Hi-Lo system

  • +1 for low cards: 2, 3, 4, 5, 6.
  • 0 for neutral cards: 7, 8, 9.
  • -1 for high cards: 10, J, Q, K, A.

Start the count at 0 at the top of the shoe and update it after every visible card. A higher count means more high cards remain — better for the player. Skilled counters convert the running count to a true count by dividing by the number of decks still in the shoe.

How the trainer works

  1. Press Deal New Cards to see a sequence of random cards.
  2. Type the running count you arrived at.
  3. The app confirms whether your count matches the correct value.
